John Fortini is President and Managing Member of Silver Fern Companies, overseeing all operations of the firm. Under his leadership, Silver Fern has expanded from a construction management company to a full service construction management, land development, and real estate consulting firm, having developed over 30,000 lots in just the past 10 years. He also serves as President of Silver Fern Capital.
As part of the Silver Fern Companies team for the past 12 years, Stephen brings over 15 years of experience and knowledge in the construction and land development industry to our clients and insures all expectations are met. As the Vice President of Construction, Stephen manages the development process for Silver Fern’s clients in addition to establishing and adhering to project budgets and schedules.
Bringing over 14 years of experience to Silver Fern, as Land Development Manager, Jason directs daily operations during the construction process of land development. He works closely with the clients on a daily basis, consulting on project drawings and dry utility coordination, providing complete project estimating and schedules, and managing budgets. Prior to joining Silver Fern, Jason worked for Taylor Morrison Homes.
Bringing over 15 years of experience to Silver Fern, as Land Development Manager John directs daily operations during the construction process of land development. He works closely with the clients on a daily basis, consulting on project drawings and dry utility coordination, providing complete project estimating and schedules, and managing budgets. Prior to joining Silver Fern, John worked for Campbell Development and KB Homes.
Jeff comes to Silver Fern as the Director of Forward Planning. In his role, he oversees all Silver Fern Companies’, and its related affiliates’, due diligence, acquisition, entitlement, and engineering services. His extensive experience is in managing large scale, multi-faceted projects while supporting a team of diverse individuals and keeping clients informed.
As Project Accountant, Medina works with clients to maintain a diligent record-keeping system and handles our construction billing and draw process. Her varied accounting and management experience with Hunt Construction, and passion for increasing efficiency has helped Silver Fern streamline many internal processes, making working with us an even smoother experience.
As Entitlement Coordinator Andrea provides support to Land Development Managers and assists with the overall entitlement process to include project Due Diligence investigation, plan tracking, various project-related submittal coordination, and summaries of findings. Along with preparation and disbursement of weekly reports and meeting coordination Andrea brings her 10 years of experience with Silver Fern.
As Office Manager Zahra provides our clients and staff with the support and assistance required to keep things running smoothly. She designs and implements office policies and procedures, ensures security and confidentiality of data and handles any client inquiries. Prior to Silver Fern, she spent many years at URS, gaining a great knowledge of engineering and construction while providing them with office management.
As Development Coordinator, Barbara provides coordination and administrative support to Land and Project Managers, assisting with project due diligence investigation, contract administration, plan tracking, coordination for design and construction permits and dry utility and plan submittals, and the preparation and disbursement of weekly reports.
As Project Engineer, Robert reviews construction drawings, property reports, proposals, plan submittals, and ALTA Surveys. He prepares our bid scopes and construction schedules, as well as assists Land Managers with the coordination of daily construction activities. Robert’s coordination and management ensure that nothing falls through the cracks on the job site.
